Bandstand
As we headed into the station we could hear the thundering drums and squealing fifes of the Orange order march, which was making its way down Market Street at the back of the station. We escaped across the bridge to the relative sanity of Dunfermline and an afternoon watching the fitba'. I enjoyed watching the game and the result was a satisfactory 2-0 against Stenhousemuir.
As we made our way back down to the station I thought the bandstand in the Town Park was looking particularly fine. Apparently it used to double as a "fort" in the childhood battles of Mr H and his pals.
