Light and Shade

The Sun took a while to break through this morning but it is now shining brightly and we have blue skies once again. I saw a large clump of these flowers, with heart-shaped petals, swaying gently in the breeze this morning. I was attracted by the way the light was shining through the thin pink petals and the shadows that were cast on them.
