Attracted to the Light

I headed outside tonight and saw this moth on the outside walls of the house. I've never seen one of these 'blown up' so I grabbed my camera and macro lens and took a few photo's.

This wee face intrigued me. I didn't know that Moth's had such big eyes and what looks like two wee nostrils. I'm sure this Moth is rather blind now, after all my flashing into its face.

I'm not a fan of these Moth's. Whenever the light is on and the door open, they fly inside the house and start bombarding you. The cats love chasing them at night when they fly around!

The weekend is just about over. Back to work tomorrow.
