Book Club, part 4

February's Book Club pick was this - "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society."

It was a super fast read (I think it took me two days or so) and overall I enjoyed it. I love books about life on an island (not a tropical island, more like northern islands I guess) and I found the pace kept things interesting.

Yes, it's terribly predictable and a little gag-inspiring (precocious child, various "kooky" characters, etc), particularly at the end, but so what? It's okay to read a feel-good book now and then. Our group totally needed one!
