High Tea

Today the cake icing guild had a fund raiser. You paid to go to a very flash afternoon tea. Bone China , tiered cake plates and the flashest of food all very delicately presented.

Wish I was clever and could do a collage as would love to show you some of the amazing flowers etc all made out of icing totally edible. Nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Then went and visited friends 89 and 86, always worthwhile to spend time with elderly friends. They showed me a card they had just come across that I had given them 29 years ago about friendship and I had written a piece of poetry in it. It was nice to say well it is still all relevant. Have ben friends with them since coming to live here in 1966
