And we did.

On and on and on. We celebrated Alex's 6th birthday a little early this year (doesn't actually turn 6 until Oct. 1st) to take advantage of the gorgeous September weather and our family's beach cabin. Started the morning with Alex's second soccer game, and his first goal ever! He showed lots of improvement from last week's game, coming out aggressive and ready to play. From the game to the beach for his Captain America themed birthday party with 12 kiddos attending. A water balloon toss, a treasure hunt (complete with a buried treasure chest), super hero masks, water guns and a sundae bar are some of the things we hope made the day extra special for Alex and his friends. Oh, and the 80 degree sunny weather didn't hurt either. ;)
