Oxford Open Doors weekend coincides with the eve of the three-week Oxford photography festival so this afternoon we got to see the touring World Press Photo 14 exhibition in one of Oxford Brookes University's new buildings. Some very powerful photographs and definitely worth a visit if you're not too far away.

On our way in, going past the exhibition curated by students on the subject of 'Home', I saw that one of my pictures had been selected. It was reproduced so badly that I was glad their completely screwed-up numbering system meant no-one would be able to attach it to my name, randomly elsewhere on the panel.

We also visited a new Oxford University building - the Nuffield Department of Medicine. Looks like Escher was the architect.
