Flying close to the sun

went to a 'members day' at an airfield at White Waltham today. There was a good flying display including some great aerobatics . My blip was a choice between a 'somersaulting ' plane and this photo with a rather dramatic sky. Being a 'landscape' photographer at heart the sky won! I'm told this is a piper cherokee. Its taken in bright afternoon sunshine by underexposing for the sky then letting the plane become shillouetted. I've then used a 'warming' filter.
