Coba

Went to a site with Maya ruins. Very impressive what they all built, especially considering they didn't have animals (like horses or mules) to move stuff or used wheels (sacred shape).

Coba also has one of the last Maya pyramids in this area which you are allowed to climb. I completely understand why they prohibit it elsewhere: its insanely dangerous! The steps are huge, steep, uneven, and stop suddenly into great big drops. But it is also VERY VERY cool to climb 45m up and be able to see over the jungle. Totally awesome.
