At the beginning of the week, I had a follow-up hospital appointment at which I asked if I could resume driving. To my disappointment, the message was loud and clear, i.e. I cannot drive until my wound has completely healed. Therefore, as that healing process is still a couple of weeks away, I am having to sit in the passenger seat when we are out and about. I am really missing the opportunity to drive and my car thinks that it has been put into retirement, not helped by the fact that it is currently sitting on a neighbour’s drive as we have a skip using up half of our available parking space.
