London Day

Had a great day in London today although my feet are very tired now! We saw the Poppies at the Tower today which were amazing, then we walked from the Tower past St Paul's to see the Book Benches around the City - thanks Redflash for introducing us to those - then down Fleet Street and the Strand round to Holborn where we made a bit of an error and got the Tube to South Kensington which left us with another long trek up to Kensington Palace. London seems to be particularly vibrant today. Our trai home got cancelled but fortunately we were there in time to catch an earlier Birmingham bound train which enabled us to catch a connection to the station where the car was parked.

This is a shot of St Bride's Church on Fleet Street. They have an appeal going at the moment to save the crumbling exterior of the building.
