Day five

Walk that took in the beach, hill and castle - Llanstefan. Again glorious weather and stunning scenary.

We met a lovely lady who was walking up to the castle with the help of her walking frame. We stopped to chat with her. It turns out that the castle was the location of her first date with her husband and his dying wish was for his ashes to be scattered at the castle. Despite her very poor mobility and the heat she got up to the castle and went in search of a certain special place. Felt quite a privilege to be part of the journey.
