Canal

A five hour meeting and then a five hour drive back to chez Minx, not that the time symmetry made the journey any less tedious.

Once I did get back, though, the Minx suggested a walk down by the canal while her daughter was at Guides and it was nice to get out and stretch my legs after a day spent sat down.

I'm not sure whether the current weather counts as an Indian summer (as we haven't technically hit autumn yet) but it was lovely walking along by the water, with just a slight nip in the air.

And it's not a bad wildlife photo by my standards :-)
