sycamore moth caterpillar

I don't know anything about caterpillars but saw this one and thought it was extraordinary with its very distinctive long thick yellow and orange hairs with white spots along its back. A google search revealed its name as a sycamore moth caterpillar.

Tomorrow morning I hope to go hot air ballooning, but the organisers say its doubtful again due to low cloud and increasing wind (its been cancelled twice before). Not having much luck with my wedding anniversary present but fingers crossed.
