Prize Chrysanths

The Street Chrysanthemum & Dahlia society held their annual competition and exhibition today. These were some of the prize winners.

As well the flowers there was an array of impressively large and straight vegetables. Since visiting, I have spent this afternoon wrestling with a giant marrow which is now part of a vegetable curry for tonight's dinner: I should point out that the marrow in question was not part of the display but from our friend Tony's garden and surplus to requirements when they left for the USA earlier in the week!

No prizes for Yeovil this afternoon; they lost 2 - 1 away to Coventry.
