Spotted!
I've been on a garden safari and wasn't really expecting to find such big game!
I was thinking of doing some garden clearing but I saw so much wildlife that I just got my camera out instead. Wasps, bees, hovers, and even an earwig's rear end! I didn't want another spider shot, especially as it seemed to be serious dining time for most of the spiders I saw.
I could hear a little bell in next door's garden but didn't think much of it until I came face-to-face with this beauty staring right at me. I've no idea who she/he is or where it came from. It certainly doesn't belong to our neighbours, they have a black spaniel, called Alfie, and my best cat mate, Lucy, (who has featured on blip a few times) and her shy sister Tess.
This one is peeping through my plant pots and the gap in the fence that Alfie created. I was using my macro lens and have been told it's a great lens for portraits - so I don't think this is too bad considering I wasn't planning on a shot like this.
