Snow already!
While many of the college students are excited about the snow and dream of days of skiing, I am not quite "there" yet. Summer really never came to our area. Today is certainly a "fall" day with intermittent fog and rain. And it is cold outside - about 38 degrees.
This was taken from a window inside a moving elevator, hence the lack of sharpness. In the foreground is the 28th Street Mall, the middle ground is the University of Colorado and the far ground are the Flatirons, with snow on them.
There are wonderful benefits to the fall. I get to wear my warm clothes again, and make hot soups and drinks. The fall colors are always so nice, and the sky seems so much blue-er.
Truthfully, though, I would really like a little more summer please.
Tomorrow it is supposed to be partly sunny! Yeah!
