Refuge Varusch

Tonight we walked up to the Refuge Varusch with friends for dinner. The smoke curling up from the chimney made a welcome sight as we rounded the shoulder to see the hut. We had a most pleasant evening, with good food and wine, convivial company including Piper under the table and the mountain refuge atmosphere. After we walked down by torchlight to round off the evening.
