Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1903 (when he was 21 years old), the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin is the largest cathedral in Great Britain and the fifth largest in the world.
It's built in the local red sandstone on St James's Mount.
I'm not sure I've captured quite how massive it is, but it really dominates the city in a way St Paul's would have dominated London in years gone by.
Sir Giles Gilbert Scott went on to design the iconic K2 red telephone box for the GPO, as well as Cambridge University Library and Bankside Power Station (now Tate Modern). You can see echoes of these later designs in the cathedral.
