Aaaahhh......

.........what a lovely day :)

I so love the Fridays JP is able to have off work and we try to make the most of them.

So today we went to Waddesdon - a beautiful National Trust house in beautiful parkland. The trees were beginning to look quite autumnal and we collected a few confers - I'm sure they shouldn't be falling off the trees yet. The house, as always, was spectacular.

We then went for afternoon tea which was super.

Then shopping - for us, for lunch club, for an event at church, and for shoe boxes - the trolley was a marvellous mixture!

This evening we went to a surprise 1st wedding anniversary party which Terry had arranged for Marlene. When they got married last year she was unable to have her first dance as she had a bad leg and was in a wheel chair, having been released from hospital the day before the wedding. So she had it this evening. So lovely.
