Another lovely evening for a walk around the loch. I was fascinated by the way in which these larger birds (not sure what they are - geese, ducks?) managed to get out of the water and land on the jetty. They seemed to swim near the edge and then push themselves up into the air with their webbed feet. I watched for about five minutes and none of them actually flew onto the boards - and none of them fell short of their target.
