A bit of history

Tonight was the first night back for Workington Camera Club after the summer break. We meet every Friday from September through to April at the Helena Thompson Museum in Workington, which is a beautiful old house that is now a local history museum.

The stained glass window panel dates back to 1634 and is now on display at the museum but was originally in the chapel at Workington Hall. The motto 'SI JE N'ESTOY' translates to 'IF I HAD NOT BEEN THERE'.
