bench Monday: Lost and Found

"Lost and Found" is the second title by artist and writer Oliver Jeffers. My son and I adore it and all of Jeffers' titles. They're beautifully written and illustrated, with such sweet tales. "Lost and Found" is about a boy who finds a penguin and tries to help him find his way home, even if it means rowing all the way to the South Pole...This is our interpretation of the story. If you have young kids and you haven't entered the beautiful, timeless world of Oliver Jeffers, now is the time to make that discovery.
