Opened the blind to thick mist. At this time of year beautiful sunny days lead to morning haar. But then there was a surprise call - another baby in the family. My cousin's younger daughter, C, had a daughter, Freya. 10 days late and a section but all well.

After a deserved kick up the backside from my best friend I was at a meeting at the Council. Very interesting and worth being there. But a meeting this afternoon was cancelled due to flu, not me.

We were entertaining tonight - J and D came for a meal and we drank pink fizz to celebrate both new arrivals. #2 son said I was badly behaved - he was probably right but .....

Next stop a wedding.
