A view worth stopping for!

This view was taking from near the Warren House Inn, looking eastwards over the old workings of Birch Tor and Vitifer Mines, up over Headland Warren to the two prominent hills. On the left is Hookney Tor where we had just come from and the hill on the right is Hameldown Tor. Laying in the valley between the two you can see the white granite walls of Grimspound, an ancient Bronze Age enclosure. 4ooo years of history in a snap shot!
