Champex to Col de la Forclaz

There are quite a few trees like this around this trip.
We have been so lucky with the weather again today sunny but sometimes in the shade due to mountains being in the way of the sun. Supposed to be an easier day today we were finished by 3 pm but still walking for 7 hours, 12. 16 miles, height gain equivalent to 237 flights of stairs in places really really steep. Dormitory could be interesting tonight bunk bed 4 below 4 above
Snug I am guessing not a lot of sleep! Hopefully no snorers
