Emerald Lake

A beautiful sunny day. We drove up to Yoho National Park and hiked around Emerald Lake, a three and a half mile trail. Absolutely gorgeous! Had a wonderful lunch at the Cilantro Restaurant at the lodge. Very expensive but worth the price. We then stopped to view a natural stone bridge feature and then drove up a switchback road for a short hike to view the Takakkaw Falls. We've been very fortunate that we chose to stay in Radium as there has been heavy snowfalls in the upper elevations. Calgary has really been hit hard with heavy, wet snow.
