Solace Day 4: Curiosity

Woke up to mist rising from the canal. Temperature reading 7 degrees. We had a bit of trouble starting the boat but after the battery terminals got cleaned we were off.

It was hot and sunny all day and, by accident, neither The Mate or I had brought our big leather hats and we were heading straight into the sun. Thankfully we spotted a small chandlers/grocers and they had some baseball caps. Perfect: he can see where he's taking us now!

My back is still aching from yesterday's chill to the muscle but I'm having a wonderful time.

Moored for the night opposite a field of bullocks, as was expected, the were keen to take a closer look at us!
