Recital.

Today was my concert for the Patronal Festival at St. Mary's Church. And it went, surprisingly, very well. It was basically just a run through of my grade eight repertoire; Shostakovich Prelude and Fugue 5 and Lyadov's Prelude no.10. The other piece that I'm doing is Brahms' movement one from the sonata in C Minor, but my teacher decided that it wasn't ready, which I was a bit disappointed about, but at the end of the day I'd rather not make a fool of myself. We also added a few other pieces to pad it out to half an hour - Prokofiev Vision Fugitive 10, Schubert Impromptu 4 and two movements from Fauré's Dolly Suite.
