Weather with an Attitude

The air was full of moisture and heat this afternoon. "Muggy" is the best description I can give it. The clouds provided a nice insulation and kept the morning hours cooler than they had been yesterday, but as the afternoon took center stage, the heat made it arrival.

I thought we might get a spectacular sunset, but not so. This is what the end of the daylight looked like.
