Spring tulips

Beautiful day, warm and sunny. Enjoyed being with friends, walking, and having afternoon tea.

House supposed to have lift started, but of course it wasn't. Funnily enough wasn't even disappointed, would have been stunned if anyone ever did what they say they are going to.

John Campbell (a TV interviewer who has done a lot to keep pressure on EQC, Insurers etc) said of all the things he's seen and done the saddest part of the lack of action for people is the loss of hope. Initially people think if they fight long enough and hard enough it will come right - for many people it will never be right and they can't win, and losing hope is the final step. Thank goodness we still have the hope that one day we will get our house and our lives back.
