We (or Ken) left the keys in the car all night so we awoke to a flat battery. However, no drama as the loveliest man from Green Flag was with us within half an hour and not only got the car moving again but drove it around for about 15 minutes to ensure that it was working properly.
We were supposed to be having our first sleep in our new house tonight.but we arrived to find the stairs had been varnished and we therefore could not use them, the kitchen is still not finished, there are no lights working etc etc. I am now feeling pessimistic about ever living there. However, I also know that the builders have done and are doing a great job so I have just got to be patient.
The dogs met their match with the black cow they tried to stare out tonight. He didn't budge, despite Flash trying to intimidate him, in true collie fashion, and Ben doing his best to appease by offering him a rubber duck.
