Why I like the Superbowl:

- People come together to watch the same show, eat food, drink, and enjoy each other?s company.

Why I dislike the Superbowl:

- The reason that people get together and have a party is because of a football game. A football game! Why, of all things that we could possibly watch, does a misogynist sport matter the most? Why don?t we have State of the Union parties? At least what happens in the State of the Union has more impact on our lives than a game involving tossing around some pigskin.

- Millions of dollars are spent on the commercials, advertising, athletes, performers, etc. for this one game. The money is better off being invested into government programs that improve our communities, businesses that would boost the economy, schools that are in dire need of educational tools for our future, or donated to Haiti.
