I didn't realize my husband had to work most of the day, so when we got home and found him gone, I was a little bummed.

My little one's and I hung out all day. We went to the store and they each got a toy. For lunch we went to Taco Bell since our kitchen is still in complete disarray.

This evening we made heart-shaped brownies and frosted them with a cream cheese frosting.

My oldest, who is 4, used the cookie cutter to cut out all the little hearts. The youngest, who is 2, stirred the topping and licked his fingers.

Here's how they turned out. They taste as good as they look.

I added a little Picasa "glow" on them to give them a more heavenly appearance.
