something different

I was over in the Big City first thing today, to volunteer at the Business for Scotland referendum hub on its first day of business.

The organiser was called away to be interviewed by BBC TV (and had a radio interview later), so instead of just hanging around looking debonair (always the right way to go in Gorgie) I had to get the place set up and sorted myself.

Not something I've done before...

I got the job done and had some interesting discussions with those who came in or stopped at the door to chew the fat. I got rid of some window posters, and a Wee Blue Book (of course).

It was 2:30 instead of 12 by the time I escaped, but what the hell. This time next week it will all be over.
