So here, in all their 77-year-old glory are: Leica II of 1939 vintage, 50 mm Elmar of 1933 vintage and 90mm Elmar of 1937 vintage. The accessory viewfinder on the camera is a SBOOI from 1951. It offers a 1:1 rendering of the subject framed with etched lines on the glass. The image seems to float before one's eyes framed for the 50mm field of view, and, since it is 1:1, if both eyes are open, it is possible to judge the surrounding action while framing the shot simultaneously.
