Stark shadow.
This is my entry for the September Technical Challenge: Shadows
Not a lot of choice as the sun was only out a few minutes! For some weird reason this bush has just one branch that has turned to its autumn colours the rest are still green!
Trying out my slow cooker for the first time. Brisket of beef with onions, garlic, celery, carrot and herbs from the garden: bay, thyme and rosemary. I also added a remnant of wine+ 2 stock cubes and water. There's a peculiar smell - I'm not sure.... Has anyone any simple, tried and tested recipes/web site for the slow cooker?
