Waldkirch to Kandel

Today I went for a "short" hike with friends from Waldkirch Bahnhof to the top of Kandel. This turned out to be 10km straight up, followed by a short lunch break and then 10km back down. Although I agree it was "short" compared to the one they are planning for 40km, this was pushing my limits. Way too unfit after a lazy year here in Germany. Must consider changing that. I think I'll start tomorrow though. I'm way too tired and sore today.
