A smile goes a long way

Two ladies pitched up today to deliver wood for the winter.

One was friendly enough - she just got on with the job, but the second one was just so warm and friendly with such a lovely smile that she put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

It's amazing what an encounter with a warm bubbly friendly person can do for your mood and for your day. It made me think about how I come across to other people.

If I could put a smile on people's faces like this lady did for me with just her infectious laughter and warmth, then that would be a pretty good achievement for the day!
