A slightly better day
I started by doing one of the few things which can cheer me up when i'm feeling down, going out for a cycle, unfortunately I missed the faster and harder road team training but instead made the club run, albeit only five of us were there!
We headed out from Ellon to the coast, following a nice quiet road to Cruden Bay before heading in land on the Longside road, eventually we turned back toward Ellon and three hours later I was home.
A quick shower and change of clothes and I jumped in the car and headed to town to meet Craig where we headed to Yo Sushi! to put the world to rights. Strangely for the first time in Aberdeen we met some nice people, we were sat next to a lovely older couple who had clearly never been there before, and would ask us a few questions about the food, we then started speaking and at one point the gentleman even let me finish off one of their prawns as he enjoyed it so much he wanted me to try it too which made me smile.
After what seemed like eating our way through the menu we left and headed back to Craigs for a cuppa and to chill out, perfect before having to go back to work in the morning. On the way getting a quick shot of this stained window at Gilcomston South Church.
