The Gonks at the top of Mount Tauhara

Today we climbed up Mount Tauhara in Lake Taupo. It was a great little climbing trail and look who we found at the top! After the climb we had a dip in the free thermal pools to freshen up - these were really warm today.

We then went for a lovely dinner in an unusual Tapas place in town. It was a restaurant with an expensive bottle shop in the bar area. You could either order drinks from the bar or pick a bottle from the shop to accompany your dinner.
