Red letter day

I am so happy about this.

The ABC Weather Calendar is a South Australian institution. Viewers send in images, and one is chosen each day to be shown on TV during the weather report.

So, I got picked for the TV. Then they told me I was in the Calendar. Then they told me I was on the front cover.

I mean, how cool is that!!!

My two free calendars arrived today. I feel thrilled and honoured.

And I have to say, without Blip I would never have been drawn to macro. And then I would never have discovered Australian native bees. And then I would never ever have seen a blue banded bee - and I wouldn't have taken this image.

So there you go - it's all because of Blip.
