Montpellier: Jardin de la Plantes

A new friend offered to give me a tour of Montpellier today; I was glad as I had not time to do any prior research and it was great to have a local show me around!

We went to this beautiful park; which originally housed medical and tropical plants for the students at the neqrby medicinal university to study. This garden is now open to the public and houses all sorts of beautiful plants! A great place for a wander, and siesta and book reading for some.
