Poppy and Pyracantha

The Pyracantha which covers the front of the house was covered in small white flowers in spring. It now is covered in berries - wonderful orange berries - which the birds will feast on for many months to come. But one of our poppies has flowered again and it is much the same colour as the pyracantha.
