Latefoss
Here is Norway's 2nd largest waterfall - you can see Mr M standing in the foreground. It consists of two waterfalls that meet at the bottom. We had a beautiful drive up winding roads to reach this point. It took several hours. You can't walk along the road without getting sprayed from the mist, and if you want to take a photo up close, you'll get water drops all over your lens. We got back to our rooms very late and managed to find a hotel that was open so we could have dinner on the way - haddock, tomatoes, potatoes, and the starter was a bruschetta with goat cheese - yummy!
Overcast day, but no rain. Made for some dramatic sky photos. Tomorrow is another long drive (also a stop at some shops so I can buy a genuine Norwegian wool sweater!). Can't wait!
