Apple picking / Happy Birthday Dad

Today was my Dad's birthday, and since Grandma had been badgering asking us really nicely to help her chop the branches off the top of the fruit trees in the garden. A great way for Dad to spend his birthday!

Saying that, it was absolutely hilarious to cut / watch people cut down the higher branches and then duck down to avoid the bombardment of apples that followed. And a beautiful sunny morning to do it on too!

It was also fantastic to wander into town with Mum and Dad for a birthday lunch at a great Italian restaurant. Just wonderful!
