Playing Out

My fantastic, amazing new knee scooter arrived today. It means that I can get around loads more easily with my broken ankle rather than just using the crutches. We tested it out with a trip to the pet shop to buy our new cat a toy and bed... then decided to make the most of the lovely evening and have a bigger adventure. We walked (well I scooted) all the way round this lovely reservoir, which was a bit bumpy but just about manageable. The fact the car park was nearly closing added an urgency to the adventure, and we made it round in 40 minutes! Then to the pub for a well deserved meal. So lovely to get out of the house - and not in the wheelchair for a change.
