Broken

Pretty crap day. Another three hours in fracture clinic and more x rays to confirm its a complex break. Beast of a cast put on, decision on surgery next week. One handed blipping for the foreseeable future.
On exiting hospital, treated myself to a flat white costa coffee (x2) and a rather large sicilian lemon muffin, in an attempt to cheer myself up. Worked temporarily till i realised that finger still throbbed like ***** and my mates woul be arriving in Scotland round about this time.
I know..stop wallowing. I'll move on tomorrow... promise.
