Old style

I used this today to get something with my autograph on it to someone who needs it. On the way back I started reflecting on how little I use these things now. I rarely send birthday cards; it's texts and emails. I've not sent Christmas cards for years; I give to charity instead. There were times when I might have been sending signs of my affection to folk but I'm old now so that doesn't happen. In fact the two letters I've posted today (the other was a cheque to someone) are probably the first personal items I've posted this year. Work communication to students is always letter of course.....
