....Here Comes the Fog....

....The Wisconsin version of the song "Here comes the Sun"! Ha! Well, we had a nice day yesterday, so it just figures that today is a dreicht day, (as Cawdor Castle would say) because I have off! Picked up a few groceries, went to breakfast & then went to the beach, where we spied 1 other hardy soul braving the wind & the rain to walk the beach! (you can see him off in the distance toward the left). There's a strong southwesterly wind blowing today & making some nice waves. As we began heading back to the car, 2 guys drove up with their fishing gear & headed out onto the observation platform to fish. We'd already been out on the observation deck where I'd narrowly missed being doused in a big old (COLD) Lake Michigan wave that came shooting up over the edge of the deck, so we'd retreated. Well, they dropped their lines in, & by the time we got to our car, they were packed up & coming back to the parking lot--they were both soaking wet, & when they saw us watching them, they said they didn't realize the waves were that high & that one had shot over & caught them both by surprise! Wish I'd have gotten THAT picture! See even more fog in LARGE ! Ha! :)
